A handsome late Victorian silver mounted crystal jam pot with patented mechanical swing handle by Heath & Middleton (former Hukin & Heath).  Heath & Middleton were well-known for their high quality of manufacture as well as working with Christopher Dresser.

The jar measures 6" in height when the handle is in the upright position and 3" in diameter.
